staying at Boro was fantastic! the minimalist design, rooftop bar, and friendly staff made my experience memorable. i loved the wooden floors and openable windows, great for allergy sufferers like myself. the convenient location near public transportation and breathtaking views of the city added to the charm of the hotel.

Sometimes you could hear noises from the street. Some siren or some car passing by with loud music. But in general very well, since the street is very little traveled.

Hotel new, modern, clean, quiet surroundings. Good bedding and spacious bathroom. The area is clean and seems safe. But without activity. The hotel staff couldn't book me a restaurant in the area. The metro is 10-15 min walk and gives quick access to Manhattan. The view on Manhattan is superb.

Minimalist room equipment. You could ask for some missing things at the reception. Basically, the room has a bed, a table, a chair and three coat racks. No switch next to the bed, no light next to the bed, no USB sockets, no coffee machine, no suitcase holder, no decoration. A little too minimalist.

The comfort and view of the rooms.

My little daughter left his teddy bear (a koala bear) on the bed and it got lost. It just disappeared and we did not receive a satisfactory explanation for this. We suspect that it got mixed with the blankets when they took them to the laundry; we talked to their employees and to the management staff several times in the following days but we did not get an answer. The hotel is great but this is unacceptable. We read in a previous review that somebody lost a phone charger and it was impossible to find it. We considered this a minor remark and we booked this hotel anyway, but after being victims we learned this is absolutely intolerable and frustrating. The item we lost had a sentimental value and it is not possible to replace it. It is a shame that the memories of our holidays in NYC are now veiled by this bad experience. My 5 year old daughter left her favorite toy (a koala) in the room, stayed in bed, because she slept with it, and got lost from the room. She did disappear. They said they looked for it in the laundry room. It is unacceptable for a hotel to lose things from a room. The hotel can be wonderful, but this fact is unacceptable. In some comments, I had read that someone had lost a phone charger and it had not turned up, it seemed to me a minor fact, but now that we were victims, it seems not a minor fact. The doll that was lost we had bought in Australia, and it had a sentimental value, it accompanied our daughter everywhere from the age of 6 months, so much so that it accompanied her even on holidays.

Loved the complimentary coffee and the minimalist design of the hotel. the trendy yet comfortable rooms had superb views of the city.

To begin with, street was under construction and water was cut off every day. Inside the rooms you had to ask for everything, from the fridge, bathroom gels or toilet paper, although it is true that as soon as you asked for it they made it available to you, it was uncomfortable to demand some services that were offered
